A different way to sell
Start with
your property.
Share the address, the home’s condition, and your preferred timing. BAREP will review the property to determine whether a direct investor purchase could be a fit.
If we make an offer, you can review the price, contingencies, and closing terms before deciding whether to proceed.
From a conversation to a decision
How a possible
purchase works.
- 01
Tell us about the home.
Call with the property address, its condition, and what you hope to accomplish. Let us know if a lender is already reviewing a short sale.
- 02
We review the details.
BAREP considers the property, title, and transaction requirements. A review may include a visit and a request for relevant property information.
- 03
Consider a written offer.
If BAREP makes an offer, review its price and terms. A short sale can close only after the necessary written lender and lienholder approvals are in place.
Our role in a direct purchase
BAREP would
be your buyer.
In a direct purchase, BAREP buys for its own investment and acts in its interests as the buyer. You can choose independent representation and compare your selling options before accepting an offer.

Understand
the next step.
Does my home have to be a short sale?
No. You can ask about selling directly to BAREP even when the mortgage can be paid in full. Whether BAREP makes an offer depends on its review of the property and the proposed transaction.
Will an offer stop foreclosure or cancel my remaining debt?
An inquiry or purchase offer does not pause foreclosure, change payment obligations, or forgive mortgage debt. Lender approval does not necessarily release you from an unpaid balance. Review the written terms with an independent attorney or tax adviser, and stay in contact with your mortgage servicer about your options and deadlines.
How soon could a purchase close?
Timing depends on property review, title, the agreed contract, and any required lender approvals. BAREP does not promise a closing date before those details are established.
What should I have ready when I call?
Start with the property address, a brief description of its condition, your preferred timing, and whether you have discussed a short sale with your lender. We can explain what property information would be needed next.
